CH Von Duffin's Firefly

Fly had a great nose and a really nice run; she liked to check back often however!  She became a Therapy Dog and loved her job!
Picture
Von Duffin's Coffee Nudge
Nudge was a very correct wirehair. She had a wonderful coat and very nice conformation.  She hated the show ring, hence we stopped that venue.  She had a great nose and had served as a wonderful dam.  She has several Master Hunters to her name, NAVHDA placers, as well as several conformation titled get.  She herself had field trial placements.

CH Von Duffin's John Wayne
Everyone loved Duke!  He was a big teddy
bear that loved life.  He had a beautiful
point and loved the birds.
Muffin Von Duffin The Second was a
solid liver bitch.  She loved to run and
made us laugh.

CH Von Duffin's The Mighty
Quinn
Quinn was a handsome guy with
pigment to die for.  He had
beautiful eyes and such a
kind manner.  He was very
biddable and we only wished
we could have made him a
dual.

Von Duffin's Knock on Wood
Ebony was an Andy-Nudge
off-spring that brought such
joy to our life.
She had the best coat of
any dog we have ever
had--and we loved her
black eyes!

Cat Ballou  Cat had been a Therapy Dog for three years.  She loved her job!  She didn't really like the hunting venue.  That meant getting her feet wet and running through the brambles.  So we found another job for her.

FC Von Duffin's Shock and Awe

Andy came to us from Ed and Barb Tucker.  He had a great coat and was very birdy.  He was a wonderful sire, instilling lots of bird interest, trainability, and early maturity for wires.

CH Von Duffin's Seven of Nine Therapy Dog
Becky has crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge.  She was the best Therapy Dog!  We were a team for over six years, loving it all.  Her ability to love those in need was absolutely amazing.  She helped students so much in their love of reading with her calm demeanor. She had her younger years as a bird dog; she is a littermate to NFC 3X DC Rudolph's Blitzen Von Duffin.

Muffin Von Duffin

Muffin Von Duffin was our first wire and little did we know the legacy she would leave us with. She was purchased as a personal hunting dog. We thought she was wonderful, but in retrospect, didn't know how good a dog she was for some time. With her
off-spring we got involved in hunt tests, field trials, showing and agility. So far to her credit, we have bred 2 Dual Champions, 7 Master Hunters, a National Specialty Winner and many Conformation Champions.
CH Von Duffin's Trick or Treat

Treat  enjoyed his life as a personal hunting dog.  He had a great coat and loved his birds.  We called him our clown; he just made us laugh.......

CH Cascade Cate Von Duffin MH ROM Supreme

Cate was the 1993 National Specialty Winner. She was the first dog in the Sporting Group with a field title
to win a National Specialty. She was the first bitch in the breed to be awarded a Record of Merit. And she was everyone's best friend. She was the best Goodwill Ambassador this breed could ever have
had.....
Picture

CH Sure Shot's Rockland Boss ROM Supreme

Boss has proved to be a great stud dog. His pups mature rather quickly, at least for wires! They have great noses and incredible intensity. Although he is no longer with us, his off-spring will carry on...

CH Rogue Isaac

Zack was a very nice producer of great personal hunting dogs and wonderful companions. His off-spring made many dog owners very happy. He had a wonderful coat and beautiful dark pigment. And he loved life! He will be sorely missed...................

DC Von Duffin's Rkld Cappuccino

Capi was a Boss-Cate daughter.  She was one of five wires to have received a placement in the National Show Futurity and National Field Futurity.
Capi was our first Dual Champion.  Field Trainer Randy Berry said that she was one of the most biddable dogs he has ever trained or handled.

Hellbender's Bugbite

Bugs was a small wire that had lots of drive. She had a great nose and enjoyed her birds.  She was running well in her field trials until she got rolled and we never could get her past that trama. She had wonderful puppies, probably the most famous is CH Von Duffin's Lady Bug CDX, MH, VX, ROM Supreme.

Ch Von Duffin's Rockland Wags

Wags loved to run and had a beautiful point.  She loved to check back as well.  She finished her conformation championship before she was a year and then became a personal hunting dog, which she cherished!

Hawkeye was the best field trial horse ever!  He was great to scout off of and super to handle off of.  He would point his head in the direction of the dog on point!  He was a bit aloof, maybe he was part wire!

CH SGR Winter Silence

Splash was a character.  He was one of five wires that had placed both in the National Field Futurity and the National Show Futurity.  He had a beautiful head and lots of bone.  He loved his birds and loved to run.  Once he came down with Ohio Valley Fever, he never had enough lung capactiy to field trial.

CH Oakhyll's Obsidian Von Duffin

Cid was the first black wire to earn her AKC conformation title.  But that was not all!  She scored a perfect score on her NAVHDA Natural Ability test at nine months. (Her sire had been
the 1990 and 1991 NAVHDA Dog of the Year.)  What nose and what intensity she had!

Von Duffin's Liebchen MH

SGR Laundry Daze

Patty had a wonderful coat, beautiful dark pigment and eyes.  She was bird crazy and lots of fun.  Unfortunately her field trial career was cut short when she came down with Ohio Valley Fever.   She still was a lover and a flirt!

Von Duffin's Tootsie Roll

Tootsie was a gorgeous liver bitch with lots of drive.  She was loved by her owners and had a wonderful life.

CH Von Duffin's Nutmeg

Meg absolutely loved running in field trials.   She had a great nose and an outstanding wirey liver coat.
